Georgian Hunting Lodge | Cheshire

Historical past for a home of the future

Located in the Cheshire countryside with views across towards Manchester, this beautiful Georgian home has a formidable history. Originally a hunting lodge, the house has both formal and domestic aspects. Briefed by our clients across a number of interior rooms, Artichoke designed and planned bespoke architectural joinery and interiors for the kitchen, library and ladies’ dressing room.

The project took 18 months to plan, build and install and resulted in a series of elegant interiors that immediately felt like part of the continuous history of the house. We believe it has without doubt enhanced both the enjoyment and value of this beautiful home.

Artichoke bring a rare combination of architectural joinery and interior design flair and understanding – a pairing that means we can imagine and make the finest interiors for a home. This house is a classic example of how skills that date back centuries can be applied to the needs of modern life to create spaces that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
